Sarabjit Movie Review is anticipated by everyone. The movie based on the life of an Indian who accidentally crossed the border and landed in Pakistan. He was sent to Pakistan Jail for being a terrorist and then he never came out of it. The movie has shown the fight of his sister Dalbir Kaur for his release. But did Omung Kumar of Marry Kom fame did justice to the Biopic? Here is the Sarabjit Movie Review.
Sarabjit Movie Review
Sarabjit was premiered at Cannes 2016 in the presence of Aishwarya Rai and Richa Chaddha. The movie has released on May 20 under the banner of Pooja Entertainment Company, T-Series, and Legend Studios Pvt Ltd.
The Sarabjit Movie is mixed of the true events and version of the director. However, the movie has maintained the original story in the script. But it is more focused on the fight of Dalbir Kaur than the agony of Sarabjit Singh in Jail.
The first thing that comes in mind for the movie performance is the casting. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a terrific actor. However, she does not look like a Sardarni who fought for the justice. The boldness and the heavyweight acting looks artificial and far from reality. She, however, made all efforts to fit into the role. Randeep Hooda is a gifted actor and he has not left any chance to showcase his skills in the movie. Richa Chaddha, on the other hand, has barely any scope to showcase her talent. She has been mostly in the background as she plays the role of the wife of Sarabjit Singh. The narration of the story is not as enthusiast as it could have been. In fact, the portion of the movie which is shot in Jail looks more fascinating than the fight of Dalbir Kaur. Even though the director has tried to bring in the drama with it , but he has often crossed the line. The scene where Aishwarya Rai Bachchan does a Gadar type dialogue in Pakistan is a prime example of it.
The movie has an awesome plot but the script has failed to deliver the same. The movie releases today and it will be interesting to see the response of the audience.
