Russian asylum to Trump is one of the topics discussed in the media. Well, not in the US Media but the Russian media. The Russian media isn’t too elated about the Election results and often talks about the post-Trump era. Well, there could two ways of dealing with this.

The first is that Russian media believes what US media believes, that Russia helped Trump to win the 2016 election. They are under the impression that Trump has really worked for them. They are worried that what would happen after Joe Biden becomes the president. Well, in all thoughts, it sounds childish but this is what they are talking about.

Co-host of Russian TV news talk show, 60 Minutes Olga Skabeeva bought the topic of Russian asylum to Trump. Well, it was reportedly a serious discussion where the experts discussed the possibility of multiple charges on Trump after the Presidency. The possible charges include tax evasion and even sexual assault, reported the daily beast. However, unlike Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump does not have a lifetime pardon. So, in case if he is guilty of anything, he would be punished, no matter who takes the presidential position.

Trump has always maintained that he is tough on Russia. Russian media however shows it in different lights. It could also what the Russian media wants, to make people believe that Trump works for Russia.

But whichever is the case, there is hardly any possibility that Donald Trump will seek asylum in Russia. Trump has never shied away from controversy and his life after the presidency would be nothing less.
