Neeraj Vora, renowned Bollywood Actor, and Director have passed away in Mumbai in the early hours of December 14th. He was at the residence of Film Producer Nadiawala and was admitted to hospital after he faced some complications. Mr. Neeraj Vora was in the coma for last one year. He suffered a brain and heart stroke in 2016 and went into the coma. He was primarily treated at the AIIMS, New Delhi. Later his friend Nadiadwala took him to his residence and turned one room into ICU. However, today at around 4 AM, he suffered multi-organ failure and lost the battle to the death.
His death has been confirmed by his friend Nadiwala and condolences have come from many parts of the Industry. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also condoled his death. He is known as one of the most talented comedians and has directed many movies as well. Khiladi 420 and Phir Hera Pheri were few of the movies that he directed. He was a renowned actor as well and acted in movies mostly in comedy roles. Daud, Baadhshah, Rangeela are few of the movies where he made his mark as an actor. He did many theatres as well. He used to write the screenplay for the Gujarati theatre and worked in Television Serials as well. Notably, he was part of the Circus which was also the first TV Serial for Shah Rukh Khan.
His wife passed away a few years back and he has no children.
The Asian Herald expressed grief over his demise at the age of 54. His movies and entertainment would remain among us forever.
