It was not clear before whether she took the drug before January 1, 2016, or not. However, it has been revealed that she took it afterwards and hence the suspension was handed. She had a phenomenal journey as a Tennis player and won 5 grand slams so far. She won the Wimbledon just at the age of 17 and created a sensation. It took another year for her to claim the No 1 Ranking. She won the US Open and Australian Open at the age of 19 and 20 respectively. At the age of 20, she had won 3 major tournaments and that was quite an achievement. She, however, had a shoulder injury and her form dropped. She was out of the Top 100 but the fighter player came back strong and in 2012 at the age of 25, she won the French Open. She did it again on the Clay Court couple of years later.
However, the suspension may take one of the best and most popular Tennis Player out of the court. She can only come back in 2018 at the age of 31 and it is difficult to predict whether she would be able to add any more grand slam to her name.
