KKRvRPS Match Summery

Pune looked to0 calm for IPL

Gautam Gambhir sent Pune to bat on their home ground. Rahane made super start on this pitch and he top scored with 67 runs. Smith looked comfortable for the first time in IPL 2016 as he managed 31 runs. However, big hits were missing and the team looked too calm for a T20 side. It is a complete different that Dhoni is leading. He has led CSK to Title wins and Semi Finals every time but it does not look Pune will finish anywhere better than 7th or 8th position as of now. The total target of 160 looked always getable with the strong batting unit of KKR. However, it was up to the bowlers to make this a challenging game for the KKR.

KKR showed Experience

Kolkata Knight Riders were always on the game. However, they lost Uthappa on very first ball. It was Surya Kumar Yadav who took the proceedings. Yusuf Pathan later took charge of the innings. Andre Russell made some good scores. However, the match went to the end and it was a nail biting finish. It was 7 from the last over with 3 wickets in hand. But KKR lost Chawla and it was all on the Umesh Yadav. He took the chance and deposited the ball way in the stadium against Perera to ensure KKR wins another game.
