KKRvRCB Match clearly showed that Virat Kohli has a lot to learn even now as a captain and RCB team desperately needs a bowler who can at least offer some resistance. It was a see saw match but it was an RCB’s match written all over it, but Kohli let it slip.
KKRvRCB Match Summary
Royal Challengers Bangalore has been pushed to the wall after series of defeat. This is the best chance for the team to come back strong into the tournament yet again. Captain Virat Kohli knew very well that he has to lead from the front in order to get things right for the team. He demoted himself at No 3 to give KL Rahul an opportunity to open with Chris Gayle. Gayle, however, failed again. Rahul-Kohli partnership however carried RCB for a better score. They added 84 runs together and stabilized the innings. Both Rahul and Kohli scored yet another half centuries. Shane Watson, Sachin Baby, and Stuart Binny made sure that the score reaches 185 runs for Royal Challengers Bangalore in a tight match of KKRvRCB.
In reply, KKR was very adamant to win but lost the plot very early. Uthappa was sent back and KKR kept losing wickets. KKR was reduced to 69-4 after 10.4 overs and the situation looked in favor of RCB at that time. However, KKR came back strong thanks to Andre Russell and Yusuf Pathan. They muscled around the bowlers all over the park and got the target 5 balls before the 20 overs. The match simply showed how a T20 Match can change the course with effective batting. RCB’s prospect in the tournament is further dent with the defeat. The lack of quality bowlers is clearly visible in all of the defeats for RCB. IPL 2016 is turning out to be disaster for RCB and the management should come into action very quickly to make things better.
