India won the first match against West Indies. WI came back to draw the second and with the IndvWI 3rd Test, India has taken 2-0 lead in the 4 Match Test Series. This match was a nail biting match. India could not gather good score on the first innings. However, the centuries from R Ashwin and W Saha were the highlights. WI was playing strong but Bhuvi took the match by storm and swung the ball to bundle out WI’s last 6 wickets for 23 runs in the first innings. India then made some rapid scores to take the lead well above 300 on the fifth day.
West Indies looked the same fragile batting unit and apart from Darren Bravo nobody looked even slightly bothered to stay in the crease. Marlon Samuels, R L Chase all looked confused and it became a matter of time for West Indies to lose the match.
