Deadly Heat Wave in New York can kill 3000 people each year, a new study has found. As per the new study by Environmental Health Perspectives, Climate Change can destroy the normal life of New York by 2080. The new study has found that by 2080, at least 3000 people on average will be dead for the intense heat wave. However, interestingly the study says that if something is done to cover that up, even then the numbers of death should reach around 1500. This can be treated as one of the adverse impact of the climate change on the environment.
This is not the first time that New York has been named for the climate change and destruction. In fact, it is often said that the metropolis will be the worst affected in the United States. There have been different takes on the climate change but no concrete plans and actions have been taken so far for the heat wave in New York.
The study has considered as many as 33 different climate change models to come up with the projection. The future population, migration, average of people is some of the factors that have also been considered during the projection. The warning of the study is not something weird as well. If the statistic of National Center for Health Statistics is considered then 600 heat wave related cases have already been registered in New York in between 2000 to 2006. The situation is getting worse and Heat Wave in New York can create an adverse impact on the metropolis.
