The crackdown of illegal slaughter house started after Yogi Adityanath became the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. The beef has however not been ban in UP till now. But the heat of the Uttar Pradesh is spreading across the country. Chhattisgarh CM added fuel to the controversy. The slaughter of cow, calf, buffalo, bull, bullock and the possession of the meat is officially banned in Chhattisgarh. The export and transport of the meat to the other states are also banned. The punishment of the cow slaughter is almost 7 years and the person is fined by INR 50000.

Now, come back to the other statements made by the BJP. The BJP has said that if it comes to the power in the North East States, then beef will not be banned. In fact, BJP has already formed a government in Manipur and the beef is not banned. In fact, Goa which is ruled by BJP for a long time does not have a beef ban.

The crackdown on cow killer is one of the new politics that has started since the Narendra Modi-led BJP came to the power. The Gau Rakshaks made things bad in 2016 and even the Prime Minister has to use tough words against them.

Hypocrisy is nothing new for Indian politicians. No, a political party is free from all these controversies, and beef ban and cow slaughter politics can only stretch now. Interestingly, the crime rate against the people of course human is only increasing in the country. There is no strict law, no adequate numbers of courts and judges too.

But then who cares about people now?
