She tweeted,

“I never engage in party politics. But the upcoming US elections are above and beyond all that. From a climate perspective, it’s very far from enough and many of you of course supported other candidates.”

She continued,

“But I mean . . you know … damn! Just get organized and get everyone to vote #Biden.”

She is 17 years old and is ineligible to vote in the Swedish election.

Well, she might have promoted climate challenges and we appreciate her for that. She is indeed a bright kid and is going to school.

However, when you directly become a party to an election campaign, either you are playing out in the hand of others, or you are just losing your track.

Greta Thunberg has been critical of Donald Trump for his stance on climate. Well, there is no problem with that and she must raise her voice. However, when you ask someone to vote for a certain candidate, you have some interest.

The interest could be you want good for the country or climate for her cause.

But as per her country’s rule, she has attained the age of voting, which means incapable to decide on the future of the country. This is a big thing.

Greta has deviated from her climate cause of a long back. This is not the first time she spoke about politics. She even wanted to cancel the entrance examination for the students in India.

She does not understand any importance of it, but easily sided with the opposition party. There is no wrong in having a political inclination whether right or left. But when someone starts meddling in the political affair of another country, you must know that you are a political critic more than a school-going climate activist.
