A Gentleman Flopped at Box Office and it deserves

A Gentleman movie has bombed at the box office. The Siddharth Malhotra and Jacquline Fernandez starrer movie could earn merely INR 15 Crores in the first 5 days and the trend shows that the total Box Office Collection of the movie would be anything between 15-20 Crores of lifetime India business. Another 10-15 Crores may be added from the abroad business at the maximum. Overall the movie was made with a whopping budget of INR 60 Crores. The producers will not be able to recover the production cost. The beautiful locations, plenty of glamour, constant promotions, even during sensitive issues, everything appeared to be worthless for the movie. But why A Gentleman flopped?

A Gentleman is a kind of Bollywood movie which would soon be vanished from the industry. The brainless movies with extra dose of glamour, songs and locations will not be able to match the expectations of the audience. The audience is getting smarter and you release a similar movie next year, it will not even earn 10 Crores. Bollywood has always emphasised the glamour, but this is the time to come back to the content, plot and screenplay.

A Gentleman

Nobody asks the Bollywood to produce movies like Hollywood. The Indian cinema has a different flavour. The spice, songs and the typical Masala of Bollywood give it it’s own identity. However, that does not A Gentleman really mean, you need to produce movie that are senseless and unrealistic.

Jacqueline Fernandez is trying to be a glamour icon of Bollywood, and there is no harm in it. She is pretty but she must also focus on her acting skills. She is doing the same mistake that Katrina Kaif did. Do movies that prove your capability as actor not as entertainer or a glamour girl.

A Gentleman

There are many more movies with similar content are scheduled to be released in Bollywood, most prominently Judwaa 2. If that bombs in Box Office, realize the end for brainless movies has come.
