Farooq Takla, the aide of India’s most fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim has been deported to India from the UAE. In a major diplomatic win, Yasin Mansoor Mohamed Farooq was deported from the Middle East to India to face the Trials for the 1993 Mumbai Blast. He will be produced in the TADA Court today, reports suggested. He is facing charges of Criminal Conspiracy, Murder, Attempt to Murder and voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means and many others according to the Interpol report.
The Indian Government issue a Red Corner Notice against him in 1995 after he fled away from the country post-1993 blast. His boos; Dawood is still absconding and is No 1 wanted fugitive of India. The Mumbai blast killed at least 257 people and injured 700 others. He could be instrumental in the Mumbai blast court proceedings after the catches like Abu Salem, Yakub Menon, and others.
The top lawyers understand that there is no question of bail in the Farooq Takla case and he would be lodged in jail till the trial completes. He is believed to be very close to the Most Wanted Fugitive of India and the authorities believe that this might help the Intelligence to gather more information about the whereabouts of Dawood Ibrahim. The Mumbai born, Takla, was a gangster and was involved with D Company. He secretly crossed the border after conspiring, the deadly Mumbai blast.
It has been reported that Dawood Ibrahim also wants to come to back to India to face the trials with some preconditions. However, the Indian Government is in no mood to entertain any tantrums as such.
