Egypt Boat Capsize has sparked an old debate of the migrant crisis and the middle East conflict. A boat capsized in the Mediterranean Sea at the Egypt coast so far killing 162 people. Many are still missing.

The boat which was carrying approximately 400-600 passengers trafficking the migrants to Europe. The authorities believe that it capsized due to overcrowding. According to the international agencies so far almost 3500 migrants have been killed in an attempt to cross the Mediterranean Sea. The numbers of migrants reaching the coast of Europe have increased drastically in recent times. The Egypt Boat Capsize is just another incident that shocked everyone.

As per the reports, there were many put on the boat and they are most probably trapped inside the boat which is now at around 15 yards inside the water. The boat waited for small boats to ferry passengers from different parts and was sailing towards the European coast before meeting the unfortunate end. Authorities say that there were many women and children among the victims. Many bodies are believed to be washed away from the site of the capsize as well.

The rescue operations are still going on and many have been rescued as well. The passengers were mainly from Egypt but there were citizens of Somalia, Sudan, and other countries as well.

The burning middle East has resulted in many refugees and migrants and the Egypt Boat Capsize is one of the many examples of unfortunate death. The international community is worried about the situation but the actions on the ground aren’t really visible.

The illegal trafficking is caused around $6500 and authorities haven’t really made significant efforts to stop this.
