Dipa Karmakar has created history and this is going to stay forever. The gymnast became the first ever Indian woman to get the title of World Class Gymnast by Federation de Internationale de Gymnastique.
This is her second achievement. She also became the first ever Indian Woman in the history to qualify for the Olympics Games. She made it to the Rio Olympics 2016 when she won the World Artistic Gymnastics Championship last year in December. Her coach B S Nandy was hugely excited with her feat. He said that this title is very common for the gymnasts of US, Russia, China and other countries. However, for India, this is a rare feather in this sport.
