Dean Jones, former Australian cricketer, and commentator dies at the age of 59. He was in Mumbai for covering the commentary of IPL 2020. He had a massive heart attack at the noon hours IST.
Star India confirmed his death.

“It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing away of Mr. Dean Mervyn Jones AM. He died of a sudden cardiac arrest. We express our deep condolences to his family and stand ready to support them in this difficult time. We are in touch with the Australian High Commission to make the necessary arrangements.”
Dean Jones was one of the greatest cricketers in Australia. He was very popular in commentary as well. Fans often called him Professor Dean as well.
Dean Jones played 59 Tests and 164 ODIs for Australia. He has been a successful coach and commentator too.
He debuted in 1984. However, he was famous for his 210 runs against Pakistan. He ended up in the hospital. He scored 10 more test centuries.
However, he was more known as a prolific ODI batsman. He was aggressive and ran fast between the wickets.
Dean Jones is known as one of the most prolific fielders of his time.
He was the coach of Islamabad United of Pakistan Super League and head coach of Afghanistan.
