BrahMos Scare for China – In the latest development, the Indian government has given a go-ahead to Army chief to deploy BrahMos supersonic cruise missile in the north east facing China.
Sources close to the defense ministry claimed that the advanced version of the BrahMos missile is deployed to deter Chinese incursion. The BrahMos supersonic cruise missile is laced with trajectory maneuver and steep-dive capabilities which are capable of causing a huge damage. The BrahMos supersonic cruise missile is a tactical missile that can strike up to 290 Km. India has developed the supersonic cruise missile in collaboration with Russia.
On the other hand, China reportedly preparing its Amry amid the South China Sea crisis. Chinese defense minister has claimed that China is fully prepared to protect Chinese sovereignty. China has also warned the United States and Japan to stay away from the controversy which could further escalate the tension in South Asian region. China is facing flak from most of the South Asian neighbors for illegal occupation of Chinese vessels in the South China Sea.
On Tuesday, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe presented a white paper which claims that China is increasing its military might and threatening South and East China sea region.
